Liepaja University, (reg. No 3093000219) (hereinafter - LiepU) announces a competition for the vacant position:
Faculty of Humanities and Arts
- Associate Professor in the sub-field of theatre and cinema history and theory of music, visual art and architecture field of humanities and art science group – 1 position (part-time).
Requirements for applicants to the position of Associate Professor are determined in accordance with the Liepaja University Regulations "Regulations on the election of professors and associate professors, evaluation procedure and professors' councils at Liepaja University" (approved at the LiepU Senate meeting on 22 March 2021, Minutes No 10 https://www.liepu.lv/lv/672/nolikumi).
Full-time salary per month before tax starting from EUR 1,777.00.
Within one month from the date of announcement of the competition in the official publication "Latvijas Vēstnesis", applicants must submit (electronically/by post) the following documents to the Personnel and Document Management Department of the Liepaja University:
- Application addressed to the Rector of LiepU, stating the position for which the person is applying and a reference to the competition announcement (date and place of publication);
- Copies of documents (diplomas) certifying higher education, academic and scientific degrees, approved in accordance with the procedures laid down by the legislation;
- If the higher education, academic or scientific degree was obtained abroad, you must also submit a statement on the academic degree or diploma awarded in Latvia that corresponds to the diploma obtained abroad;
- List of scientific research and/or artistic creation published in the last six years;
- Curriculum vitae ( - CV) and a summary of research, academic, administrative and organisational experience;
- Other documents that the applicant may wish to attach to his/her application in order to better describe his/her qualifications.
