Liepaja University, (reg. No 3093000219) (hereinafter - LiepU) announces a competition for vacant positions:
Faculty of Management and Social Sciences
associated professor in the Social Science Group, Economics and Entrepreneurship field, Education Management sub-field – 1 post (part-time).
Requirements for applicants are determined in accordance with the Liepaja University Regulations "Regulation on Election of Professors and Associate Professors, Evaluation Procedure and Councils of Professors at the University of Liepaja" (approved at the Liepaja University Senate meeting on 22 March 2021, Minutes No 10 https://www.liepu.lv/uploads/dokumenti/Nolikums%20par%20prof.un%20asoc.prof.velesanam_nov.kart._profesoru%20%20padomem%20LiepU_EN.pdf).
Monthly salary for full-time work before taxes from 1587,00 euro.
Within one month from the date of announcement of the competition in the official publication "Latvijas Vēstnesis", applicants must submit (electronically/by post) the following documents to the Personnel and Document Management Department of the Liepaja University:
- a curriculum vitae (CV) containing full information on the applicant's scientific, pedagogical and organisational activities, organised in accordance with the criteria laid down in the Cabinet of Ministers' Regulations "Procedure for the Evaluation of the Scientific and Pedagogical Qualifications or Artistic Creativity of an Applicant for the Position of Professor or Associate Professor and of a Professor or Associate Professor in Office";
- copies of diplomas certifying academic and scientific qualifications (if they are not already held by the LiepU Personnel and Document Management Department);
- a concept for action for the next 6 years;
- a recommendation from the Faculty Council
