Associate professor Dr. Chris Hales (Christopher Hales) of Liepaja University study programme "New Media Art" is currently giving lectures and workshops on Interactive Filmmaking in Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) in Philippines, Quezon city, under Erasmus+ program project KA107 (No 2018-1-LV01-KA107-046886). During his teaching mobility, the professor is also making the research in "New Media Art" in this University.
Chris Hales is a specialist in interactive audiovisual projects and cinema. His work was featured in ARTEC’95, ZKM's Future Cinema (2003) and the 13th Media Forum in Moscow (2012). In 2018 the 'customisable cinema' project You•Who? premiered at the Madeira Film Festival and in Dublin at the ICIDS (Interactive Digital Storytelling) Art Expo. His publications include a chapter in Interactive Digital Narrative: History, Theory, and Practice (Routledge, 2015).
This series is co-presented by Areté, Ateneo Art Gallery, ADMU Information Systems and Computer Science Department (DISCS) and Ateneo Fine Arts Department.
