The professor of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts of Liepaja University Oļegs Beļajevs has arrived from Erasmus+ teaching mobility, where from 4th till 8th March he gave lectures on the theme “Latvia and French language in education system, society and intercultural communication” in the Savoie Mont Blanc University (Université Savoie Mont Blanc).
The professor tells that “the University is located in the city Chambery (Chambéry), in the South foot of the Alps, it is a modern, dynamic university, where everyone, who studies languages, can obtain a very good French knowledge, studying in authentic and pleasant study environment”.
In the spring semester two students of Liepaja University study programme “European language and Culture”, French-English direction started their Erasmus+ studies in this university. The professor discussed current issues with their professors and French language professors and people from International Office. Whereas Oļegs Beļajevs also consulted two French students, who are planning to come to Liepaja for their Erasmus+ studies.
