On 16 January 2019, the Director of Circular Economy Centre of Liepaja University Lilita Ābele visited Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU).
The lecturer of Liepaja University and Director of SPbPU V.Krasnochekov discussed further prospects for mutual cooperation.
The core focus of the Centre is the development of different technologies focused on Environmental Technologies. This theme is highly demanded in Western Europe, Baltic States and Russia. Ecological research is also conducted by the scientists of SPbPU. At the moment they have decided to stop at Ecodesign, since the university has been organising conferences under this name for more than 10 years. It is possible to develop a joint-degree programme or a double degree programme, to create a whole university consortium. Make our world better - isn't it a noble goal of cooperation?
