Erasmus+ exchange students from Armenia, France, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Costa Rica study at LiepU

Every academic semester new international students are joining Liepaja University - this semester 26 Erasmus+ exchage students from 6 countries and more then 9 full degree students have started their studies at LiepU.

In this semester LiepU hosts Erasmus+ exchange students from Armenia, France, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Costa Rica. Exchage students are studying IT, design, media arts, teacher training, pedagogy, social work as well as various foreign languages, including Latvian language. Liepaja University for the very first time is hosting 4 Erasmus+ exchange students from the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia by offering 4 scholarships for studies in IT and 1 student from Costa Rica Institute of Technology who has received the scholarship for ecotechnologies studies. All 5 students have arrived under Ka1717 Erasmus+ activity.

This semester exchange students are coming from very different LiepU pertner universities as:

- Costa Rica Institute of Technology

- CIELS Campus 

- Camerino University

- Darmstadt Technical University

- WIT Warsaw school of Information Technology under the auspices of the Polish Academy of Sciences

-  National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia

- Mersin University

- Anadolu University

- Kocaeli University

- Afyon Kocatepe University

From 5-9 February exchange students had various events - welcome reception, game night, bowlinag, city tours to learn about the university and the city.
