Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) for HE staff: “How to enhance cooperation between people from different countries in the higher education: improve your intercultural competence”
Liepaja, 16 – 20 October 2023
Intercultural competence is an essential set of skills needed in the modern workplace. LiepU offers BIP for university staff in order to improve their intercultural competence and ease their work with students and staff from the different cultural backgrounds at their universities. Professionals from various countries will give an insight into cultural differences of their countries, will provide useful tips on how to effectively work in various situations.
Participation in full programme (1 virtual day and 5 physical days) is mandatory.
Maximum number of participants is 20. There is no participation fee.
Venue: Liepaja University, Liela iela 14, Liepaja
11th October (16.00-18.00 LV Time) “MS Teams” – Virtual Component (link will be sent to participants e-mail a week before online meeting). Introduction to programme and participants.
Physical workshops at LiepU from 16-20 October on cultural differences will be given by professionals from different parts of the world.
