Today, on 7 August 2023, Liepaja University hosted the British Ambassador to Republic of Latvia Paul Brummell, who had a meeting with the Rector of Liepaja University Dace Medne, Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Social Work Linda Pavītola and the Associate Professor Jana Grava.
During the conversation, the Ambassador was interested in the history of Liepaja University, the principles of teacher training in Liepaja University and Latvia. The two sides agreed on cooperation in the field of academic research and development of international projects.
Students from Liepaja University introduced the Ambassador to specialised rooms and laboratories in which the study process is taking place, as well as had a friendly conversation about the student life. Bilateral negotiations showed a mutual interest that could take place in specific projects.
