14 June Liepaja University hosted Ambassador of Georgia in Latvia H.E. Irakli Kurashvili and the Senior Counsellor Mikheil Sulaberidze.
During the visit LiepU Vice Rector for Studies Māra Zeltiņa and the Director of Development Uldis Zupa discussed about Erasmus exchange cooperation possibilities between Georgia and LiepU, ambassador showed an interest in information technology study programmes. LiepU representatives introduced about the future plans in the education, outlining the study programmes thought in English.
Currently Liepaja University has two partner universities in Gerogia: Caucasus University and Gori State Teaching University.
