Today, 31st March Liepaja University hosted the board of ETEN - European Teacher Education Network to speak about the ETEN General Assembly which will be held at Liepaja University in September 2022. Board members had a meeting with Vice Rector for Studies Māra Zeltiņa, Dean of Faculty of Pedagogy and Social Work Linda Pavītola as well us with Senior Specialist at International relations department Ērika Lauberga (remotely).
The European Teacher Education Network was founded in 1988. ETEN aim is to promote a wide range of cooperation, exchange, research, and publication possibilities for:
• universities and institutions engaged in Higher Vocational Education;
• local education and social authorities;
• relevant associations of teacher and social educators.
LiepU is a member of ETEN for the last few years. Currently there are 63 member universities in Europe and outside.
