Every academic semester, new international students join Liepaja University - this semester 23 Erasmus+ exchange students and 20 full degree students from Cameroon, Congo, Guinea, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Yemen. Full time students have started studies both in bachelor and master level study program "Information Technology".
LiepU International relations department informs that very different countries are represented also in this semester what makes LiepU study environment more international. LiepU hosts Erasmus+ exchange students from France (7), Turkey (6), Italy (5), Russian Federation (2), Croatia (1), Mexico (1) and Germany (1).
Exchage students will study at LiepU IT, computer sciences and ecotechnologies as well as various foreign languages and design and media. This semester students are coming from different LiepU pertner universities as: Kocaeli University, Yıldırım Beyazıt University in Ankara, Lorraine University, Algebra University College, ITMO University, EPITA, the school of engineers in computer intelligence, Polytech Orleans, University of Naples "L'Orientale", Scuola Superiore Universitaria per Mediatori Linguistici – CIELS, University of Veracruz, Nizhnevartovsk State University.
on 18th February students had a guided tour around the city. In order to inform the students about the city of Liepaja, where they will live for a while, they were shown historical and touristic places.
