LiepU discovers Budapest Metropolitan University under Erasmus+ staff exchange

From 19th until 21th January LiepU International Coordinator of International Relations Department Sintija Leigute went on Erasmus+ staff mobility exchange to one of the best private universities in Hungary - Budapest Metropolitan University (METU) in Budapest.

She had several meetings with Eramus+ Office colleagues, director of the Tourism Bachelor and Master study programmes Melanie Kay Smith, International Coordinator of the Faculty of Art and Creative Industries Zoi Hrisztodulakisz, Chief Customer Officer Laszlo Podhoranyi and staff from the Student Information Centre. Were discussed different areas of common cooperation as Erasmus+ student and teacher exchange between both instututions in Design, New Media Art, Business, Economics and Tourism study programmes, joint study course in Tourism and Recreation field, possible joint events for art students, management of full-time student admission and the management of the university's marketing for international students, accessibility of a good environment around campus for foreign students and good practices of hosting new students and staff during the pandemic. It was nice to see that we have so much in common as the universities!
