Thanks to Integration Courses and society "Cooperation Platform" on 20th November LiepU international students from 3rd countries had a chance to go on excursion to Riga to explore more of the Latvian history and culture in the historical and magnificent museum "House of the Blackheads" (Melngalvju nams). Students were discovering grand ballrooms where happened ceremonies for kings and queens, and presidents, the historic cabinets, could mint coins and taste traditional Latvian balsam.
Later students tried traditional Latvian food in cafe "Lido" and had free time enjoying illuminated streets of Riga and the interactive walk offered by Riga circus.
Thank you, international students, for your participation - we hope that you liked this cultural trip! This was one of four activities which were planned during the Integration courses, so all the other activities will follow up very soon!
