UPDATE. New Media Art Festival is organised for students, young and emerging artists, professionals who want to acquire new skills and improve existing knowledge, art critics, educators and all interested parties.
All masterclasses and workshops are free and open for public.
In accordance with regulations set by Liepaja University and the Latvian government, the program will take place ONLINE (using ZOOM) with limited participation in-person (in Liepaja).
The program consists of the Evening Program (weekday evenings, 2 hours long starting at 6 PM (GMT+2)):
- topical masterclasses and discussions
workshops (1 to 4 weekdays between 10 AM and 5:30 PM (GMT+2))
- Ellen Pearlman (XR, AI, Conceptual thinking)
- Krista Dintere (Deep listening, Field recordings)
- Roberto Bravo (Immersive sound, Sound installation)
- Sune Petersen (Generative visualizations, Visual coding)
- Ģirts Ozoliņš (Modular synthesizer)
- Alvis Misjuns (Motion capture, 3D scanning, Photogrammetry, WebVR)
