Recently Liepaja University has started to develop a closer cooperation with the Latvian cultural center at Ijui city in Brazil and UNIJUÍ.
On 22 March 2021 LiepU has officially concluded the cooperation agreement with UNIJUI - university is founded in 1957 and is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the city of Ijuí.
The signing parties agreed to develop the following aspects of cooperation:
1) Joint research
2) Exchange of technical and scientific information
3) Human resources training at undergraduate and graduate levels
This agreement will serve as a great start of the deeper cooperation in the very near future in various fields: researches on Latvian diaspora in Brazil, implementation of cultural, business and other projects.
