Erasmus+ exchange students choose to study in LiepU also during the global pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has created a wide variety of restrictions in the world, but Erasmus+ exchange program continues. In this semester Liepaja University hosts 9 exchange students from 7 partner universities in Germany, Poland, Turkey and France. Although the semester is being organized remotely, all students are planning to visit or have already arrived in Liepaja to enjoy the opportunities provided by the exchange program as much as possible.

Students from Kocaeli University and Bursa Uludağ University, as well as students from Lodz University of Technology have chosen to study in bachelor's degree study program “Information Technology”, while student from University of Lorraine will study in bachelor's study program “New Media Art”,  student from Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz – in bachelor level study program “Design”. Students from the Kocaeli University and Jade University of Applied Sciences will study in bachelor level study program “European Languages and Culture Studies”.

On 8 February incoming Erasmus+ exchange students and staff of LiepU International Relations department had a remote introduction meeting. 

From the Liepaja University to our partner university this semester in the frame of Erasmus + exchange program only one student of study program “Nature and renewable energy resources management and engineering” will go abroad – she is already learning from the beginning of January in South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences.
