From 15 – 17 October Erasmus+ project implementers had a chance to take part in Europe Initiative “Erasmus Days 2020” by organizing different events where they share the results of the projects and gained experiences abroad. Already 2nd year LiepU took part in this iniacitive by organizing various events.
14 October LiepU International Relations department’s coordinator Madara Lindmane was a guest at SWH Spin Radio studio where she was telling more about planned "Erasmus days" activities and possibilities for studies or internship abroad, also two success stories from studies in Canary Islands and Portugal were shared by LiepU students.
15 October International Relations department together with LiepU authorities opened the photo exhibition "Breathe in Philippines" created by International Coordinator Sintija Leigute, where can be seen her photos and also photos of MPLab project manager, Phd student Maija Demitere, when they visited Philippines on their Erasmus+ staff mobility last year. The exhibition will be open until the end of October in LiepU (on 2nd floor lobby).
To show how diverse are Erasmus+ program’s countries on 15 October exchange students from Canary Islands and France, currently studying at LiepU, presented their countries and served traditional snacks made by themselves.
On 16 October International Relations department’s specialist Erika Lauberga and Sintija Leigute participated in the online event “TeaTime with Erasmus” organized by Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University, where they introduced colleagues from different institutions abroad about the support given by LiepU to exchange students during the lockdown period.
