This is to inform the students who have applied for studies or willing to do in a nearest future – Liepaja University intends to start the new academic year at the usual time – this year on 7th September. With regard to the arrival of new international students, we are flexible and take the situation into account.
In English-taught programs we will allow international students who have difficulties with entry to Latvia to take part in the studies via online tools and, if necessary, on an individual basis. To start the year with online learning, changes may be made in lesson plans, but students will be informed about all changes. So, it means those students who will be late due to embassy issues or any other reason caused by COVID-19, will be able to follow the program and will not lose the semester!
