The Chief Specialist of International Relations Office of Liepaja University Ērika Lauberga and International Coordinator Sintija Leigute participated in International Higher Education summit “EURIE2020” in Istanbul, Turkey from 19th till 21th February. It is the largest higher education event in Asia, where 200 universities from all over Europe and Asia took part in attending seminars, panel discussions on various topics related to the latest trends, challenges and future of the higher education.
The event was valuable and International Relations Office gained new contacts to develop new cooperation possibilities in the future, impressions of what the higher education will be in the near future and how different universities are facing challenges in dealing with foreign students.
Similarly, from 17th till 19th February LiepU International Relations Office visited Erasmus+ International Staff Week, which took place in one of Istanbul’s largest private universities - Istanbul Aydin University and had an impression of working with Erasmus+ students and good exchanges of experience in this university.
