Liepaja University greets visitors from partner Sinergija University, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Liepaja University hosted two guests from their Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility project No 2018-1-LV01-KA107-046886 partner institution Sinergija University – General secretary of Faculty of Law Jelena Manojlovic and teacher of Faculty of Philology Borjanka Djeric Dragičevic. Both of the guests carried out their training and teaching assignments as well as took part in the 2nd International Week: Exchanging experiences.

During the week J.Manojlovic and B. Djeric Dragicevic presented Bosnia and Herzegovina and its culture and shared information about Sinergija University to participants of 2nd International week and other LiepU staff members and students, exchanged experiences with staff members about different operational processes in higher education institutions.

The students from European languages and culture studies had the chance to hear Borjanka Djeric Dragicevic’s lead lecture “The Challenges of Studying Literature in the 21st century: The Nature of Post-Postmodernism”, where they touched quintessential topics about the existance, purpose and meaning of literature.

Both guests agrees: “Our experience of spending a week at your university was really great – we have to take into account that it was our first Erasmus+ experience, so we were really impressed by the concept itself. We enjoyed the workshops, had a great time, in a really extremely pleasant atmosphere made by, at first place, Liepaja University International office, as well as other participants who did share all the positive energy themselves. We made new contacts, but, more importantly - new friends. [..] What we cherish the most is the opportunity to meet our colleagues from all over the world, to share our teaching experiences, to agree to sign new contracts and to enhance our own Erasmus+ knowledge about the important things – now we are in the stadium of finalizing new agreements and planning new exchange programs for our students as well as teaching and administrative staff.”
